me myself and I think we'll have a (very) little Indian summer along the way, somewhere, some futile days lost between September and October, to compensate this shitty summer.
I daily drive my car on the Beukenlaan here in Antwerp, and yep, indeed, some trees are going already for those shorter days
nice little poem!!
regards
klaver4 killea: Thank you, Klaver4.

in every respect really brilliant, June.. this 'haiku'..! anyway.. my favourite season: the wonderful and multicoloured autumn.. last year I enjoyed the "Indian Summer" in New Hampshire (New England, USA).. a spectacular and surprising experience..
cheerio,
Stater killea: I feel the same about Autumn, it just makes me happy!

June - Aramis
From the dew-soaked hedge creeps a crawly caterpillar,
When the dawn begins to crack.
It's all part of my autumn almanac.
Breeze blows leaves of a musty-coloured yellow,
So I sweep them in my sack.
Yes, yes, yes, it's my autumn almanac.
(Autumn Almanac - The Kinks) killea: thank you.
June - lucky
Mooi hoor deze proef ik ondanks mijn engels killea: Thank you
