on an early morning walk
through the Botanical Gardens
I came across two drunks
the happy pair tottered and reeled
towards me, almost falling over
blissfully unaware of my presence
and although it was obvious from
the visible remains
of fermented figs around their bills
I asked them what on earth
had they been up to
staggering and bleary eyed
unfazed by my query
they waddled past
and gave me a feeble quack
feedback van andere lezers
Sounds like a happy couple
one day my love! one day
killea: soon, my darling soon
Lieve killea, ik versta best engels maar in dit gedicht komt de kennis van deze taal in een gemis, heb het gelezen maar echt deze keer niet helemaal begrepen. Sorry, geef je toch een uitstekend omdat ik weet dat je prachtig schrijft;
killea: Thanks Matahari. It was the most hilarious experience, two ducks were totally drunk from eating fermented figs which had fallen on the ground. bits of the figs were still hanging out of their beaks. and they could barely walk without falling over. Now read it again and you will understand quite clearly. I know you will.
What did YOU there in that eary morning? ;-))
killea: I often went there early in the morning it was the best time, and my favourite time for anything!
Hahahaha. Can't wait to drink your Irish Queen's ass under the table ;0)
ps. I didn't drink a drop since April so I have to get back in shape first,
killea: You will never find my ass under the table,
They clearly weren't duck-taped :o)
killea: The morning glory of the botanical gardens in Melbourne was the scene of this event, and Dicky I still laugh, because drunk ducks are the funniest fellows you can imagine. No dignity whatsoever!
volgens mij geef jij Engels ofzo, want dit is zelfs een Engelse dichtsite waard,
killea: Marc, you are too kind. thank you
fuck a duck, what an experience!
killea: Jan, unforgettable!
killea: Indeed it was, Greta
plezant twee dronken eenden!
killea: It was most charming!
killea: many thanks, frans
Heel leuk om te lezen dit ;-)
Goed neergezet, groetjes.
killea: Thank you Otiske
