caused you pain
forgive me
was not my intention
will never use words again
soul aches for its mate
feel broken
to hear your voice
see your sweet face
so forget the words
written or spoken
though they will not be taken back
out there they stay
forever lost on their way
on the wind
and when the storm rages
lighting strikes them
thunder booms
not even snow can freeze them
trees pass on the message
from one to another
one day when you may feel
the words on a breeze
a flower whispering to the bee
and if you think of me
think kindly for a moment
then forget the words
written or spoken
they were never meant
for our friendship to be broken
