just want to shower and go to bed

it's all too much for my drowsy head
you go on and on about something great
that happened to you today, but I,
so exhausted don't even know the date
I lie in bed and you're still yapping ahead
I'd tell you to shut up

I turn my back hoping you get the hint
then you kiss my neck, so very well placed
next thing I know my legs are wound
around your waist
our tongues entwined, our bodies are one
I kiss the panther on your shoulder
anticipate your delicious moves
as they get bolder and bolder
tiredness gone while we take it sweet and slow
you know me so well, and take me
to the place where we both want to go
and as we lie together feeling totally replete
you kiss me good night
and I can finally sleep
