door killea

You carved your name
on my heart too deep
forever rob sleep
wound continues to seep

lying on my bed
pondering words read
weighing words said,
love synthesized dead

hopelessly yearning,
for your intellect, burning
a mind so discerning,
ever teaching never learning

all history, a passing ship
cannot let myself slip
into an entangled dip
of the short-lived trip

you etched too deep
I was just a bleep
