Tipsy
The first wet sand between my toes
beautiful bodies in naked worship of the sun
frolicking in icy surf, happy screams of fun
hand in hand along the boisterous shore
dining outdoors, a bottle of chilled rosé
nothing to spoil this glorious day
later on the terrace of Que Pasa
drinking a Salito or two, too soon
surrendering to a tipsy afternoon
the night will find us on the beach again
glistening in the ocean, the moon above,
a mirror of celestial love
