As I stand on the shore of the ocean
knowing it is the same ocean you see
miles and miles away
can you feel what I am feeling today
as I travel in another direction
for a while, despondent
my need of you so deep
can you feel what I feel along the way
when the rain drops on me
like the tears of a sympathetic sky
mingling with mine
can you feel the colour grey
words on the wind reach me
bring warm light into sight
you send your sweet song
I feel the scent of your bouquet

beeldend zoals gewoonlijk en ik besef in eens dat element 'water' heel vaak in je gedichten zit. ik vraag me af hoe zou dat komen?
