Torrential Rain

door killea

Drenched by rainfall
of monsoon proportions
blinded by water
vision sodden distortions
hand held tight, guided along
so as not to slip and fall
into a house, a home
haven from the raging squall
shivering, stripped bare
gently rubbed dry
wrapped in a blanket
a contented sigh
mellow exhilaration
warmed with utmost care
led to seize nirvana
in the all encompassing chair…

  oeps mijn Flemelisch is not so good, maar wat ik lees is de emotie van het gevoel om te kunnen genieten na een zware reis, gewikkeld in het droogmakend deken, de mens zijn veilige rust van zijn schommelstoel thuis de ervaringen kan verwerken ... waardoor alles wat zwaar is kan gerelativeerd worden tot het eigenste moment van rust en verbondenheid met zichzelf en wat is.
  Zelfs als het dat niet is, dan nog is het een uitstekend waard
