Dark Side of the Moon
Always saw the bright side of the moon
until it turned around showing its dark face
although it seemed like a dream
still, it felt like a fall from grace
without a visible horizon
stumbling along with good reason
no light to guide along the path
just the strong whiff of treason
no interpretation of the situation
no sound of the shore's rhythmic beat
all sense of direction lost in the gloom
an earthquake rumbles beneath my feet
