Sometimes everything so clear
feels so right, so graspable
intense, real, tangible
nothing else matters

moments of perfection
unsullied, authentic
divine with lucidity
then all just shatters

past overtakes the present
presenting an illusion
subtle stealth to disturb
page titled today in tatters

sometimes everything so muddy
untruths sold, readily bought
surface to perturb, alarm bells ring
significance continuously chatters
