Remembering to fly
Want to fly again to my star
the distance doesn't seem too far
memory still hopelessly lost
but fly I will at any cost
here I stand an open book
turn the pages take a look
do you hear when I speak
are my words too veiled and sleek
how often do you give and take
the bough bends until a break
deal with it or go, your solution
will not satisfy you with absolution
here I stand an open book
turn the chapters take a look
another reality tell me what you see
describe it when you look at me
love will not die easily
it's all or nothing loving me
own the courage to see it through
or in truth do what you have to do
when I remember how to fly
I will teach you how to reach the sky
come with me to dimensions you've never been
an ultimate journey eternally serene
