hanging on a limb to see
a porous branch of a tree

see, hear, and sense
each word crossing thresholds
into the depths gone astray
his webs entangle me

summer roses bloom
dying much too soon

his signature bird flies on
to the next verbal flow
a magic lyrical scribe touching
all who succumb to his words
