Rainbow Jewels

Diamond tears, weeping, sinister arrows hit
what was good and true, invisible as they pierce
ruby-red blood flows, pain so internally fierce
grand prince of darkness tantalisingly unsurpassed
rainbow jewels of lies, definitive web dripping
another fool caught in need of severe whipping
black bird spread his wings lying prostate, to relieve chill
staring at the devil's omen, whilst he warms in the sun
all the undeserved suffering, knowing what is yet to come
motionless, then moving slow, this is no ordinary crow
he flies off circling above, silhouetted by the bright sky
messenger of the dark, departs with primordial cry
