in the storm of all storms
dining in the sun
cocktails by the sea
love in everything we did
wherever we roamed
a glimpse of paradise
tempting us continuously
hours in bed
not a moment wasted
hand-feeding sparrows
drunk on love alone
we tasted oysters in the shade
laughed till exhaustion
for the love of life so fine
hang on to this picture
which seemed painted
a long time ago
shall we paint again
