The seers tell me I have a curse
which followed me from my birth
and all I know is it must be true
as my soul feels trampled black and blue
optimism is there too, just for a tickle
then again and again life is so very fickle
every fight I win and lose
never know which to choose
doing my best left me with nothing
doing my worst always brought something
ideas fly, like my talents out the door
yet I seek to find there must be more
a loving friend gave me a clue
when he said "Plus est en vous"
