invite me to the maze
the latest craze, such fun
as I wonder through
our labyrinth turning
this way and that
I cannot find you anywhere
gone in self-serving sprint
I call your name
and only hear my echo
it's raining cats and dogs
cannot find my way out
but I feel you and know
you cannot be far
hiding as usual behind
words so very bare
predictable as sin
you'll find me when
you are ready again
to re-enter the labiarynth
