When we meet again tonight
today seems endlessly long
sorrow, will hide in corners
under dust kept for the point

raw will be the savage embrace
the devil may care, nor I
you come and go and come again
then leave with a tear and smile

your face will be recognized
amongst the many who pass by
in bed you stroke my silhouette
missing you was my despair

raw will be the savage embrace

in time this all will be past tense
for now it's the longest mile

memories we'll create once more
against all odds and ends
we'll rush to satisfy our lust
copulate in the present tense

raw will be the savage embrace

as nothing ever makes any sense
this passion will live or die
