As I fill myself with love
in all my empty, shattered spaces
took an unexpected giant leap
with many small unforeseen paces
hope I can get the future right
although if I make mistakes
the future will give me the chance
for the many, many retakes
joy swept yesterdays tears away
an experience feeling so new
the early bird sings for me
my tears are only dew
