Yindi, the sunshine
and you are mine
smart, charming, divine
bij mir bistu schein

your birth, I wasn't there
remember it well, the tear
and tears I cried in despair
wasn't allowed to be there

but you Mausele held my hand
walked the floor, did understand
took the pain, of the broken band
healing took place along the strand

now it's birthday number three
red-headed like your nannie
and like her, a little freaky
