her heart stopped
police were quick
ambulance shocked
but nothing let
her ticker tock
in the hospital
they got it going
forced coma to rest
the unknowing
it is a fact as I write
with tears flowing
she lies in the bed
as others who love her
their tears shed
her life support
turned off, brain dead!

thirty-three, kind, giving
two small children
no longer living
a beauty inside and out
it isn't fair, it isn't bloody fair
I scream and shout...
