Sitting high in the tower
circular clouds touched
by the diffused sunlight
faces beautifully displayed
writing there, revolving
life's infinity, life's divinity
imperfection seems somehow
so perfect in this troublesome
hour of peaceful reflection
wisdom of a different kind
reminders of loving words
silently, they seem fonder
now that nothing is heard
tempestuous nights, dreamed
intellect at rest, lasting awhile
one gave one's best, love
a nakedness of truth,
a darkness of lies, forgiven
abstractly smitten, take the turn
my gratitude will continue
burning in the candlelight
no challenge, no desire
you did not win first prize
no need to apologize
cannot go higher than this tower
to wish you farewell
my love, fly on the winds
to the stars you acquire
no regrets, no set backs
love remains sempiternal,
ethereal in goodbye
