Silence envelopes her
she stands tall, proud
in her white wedding dress,
distant plains in the valley
call her majestic,
mysteriously holding
in the folds of her gown,
the young, soon to be born,
in her sleep she dreams
of natural rejuvenation,
she is totally unaware
of her exquisite beauty,
as the layers of lace
fall on her gown
from gentle skies,
the icy moon sends
loving kisses
that sparkle at night,
and the footprints of today
will disappear noislessly,
the crisp air billows
with the breath of man,
forever to be repeated
in the marriage of Winter
and Mountain...
