Your long, silent shadow
reaches across the miles,
touching me ,
I take your ethereal hand
which leaves mine empty
betwixt my heart
speaks volumes,
do you hear me, I wonder,
in my silent complexities,
just when the future
looks lost in the past
it zooms ahead,
a single gossamer thread,
and beyond my terrace,
a neighbour's violin
murmurs a soothing tune,
fire in my heart ignited,
with possibilities, in bloom,
your long silent shadow
openly has the floor,
I will sleep to dream
and dance once more...
