another dawn
I wait for the light
reading, writing
throughout the night
talked for a while
laughed some too
still can't explain
what draws me to you
perhaps it's just
the other way round
and you were sent
to the lost, and found
your voice so familiar
a beloved tone
a new story
of my own
I'll take it on
until the end
love will remain
my dear friend
