No Disgrace
Two days and two nights
in unknown territory
is this a beginning
or the end of the story
Or might it unfold the daring
challenge and change I feel
coming over my life
was it fantasy, or was it real
Seven long years
I've wanted to break free
Now I've done the unthinkable
I've done something just for me
Without regret, I will deal with anger,
and strife I will have to face
I'll be named with outrage
but I feel no disgrace.
