Disoriented
Hung onto the pole
waiting for green light
could still hear the train
leaving, so early
legs trembled, weak
head faint
morning sun, bright
in all its glory
for a while
I could see nothing
hardly spoke
with so many words
hiding behind a smile
felt so strange
in a foreigner's land
where I need
to hold on to a pole
just to be able to stand

Everybody needs a pole once in a while... especially the highest, strongest sunflower in my garden.
Beautiful poem about vulnerability. killea: many thanks Christine

so often emotion is too speechless, too strong...that it can only be translated in trembling...and a look which points to nothing...
mooi!
groetekes killea: thank you kerima ellouise

heel mooi! killea: thank you Jamal,

I guess you are right Tessy

From pole to pole. That's a long way to be searching for home.
M killea: and then there are the bridges I have to cross and not jump into the water - it takes hours to get home
