Star-filled night
What is this feeling
so cold and familiar
history tells tales
of situations similar
sky so clear tonight
give way to the day
to follow dreams
replete in delay
remember, the times
when I drove all night
to be in the same place
under the stars it felt so right
sometimes still I return
go back to the headiness
drunk with emotions
filled with happiness
candles burning high
danced all night real slow
watched the dawn arrive
felt your hunger grow
every season a new face
much further, so much changed
as I learned to believe in love
star-crazy trust was rearranged

the same as before
heart still beats for what
it will always adore
nothing more is needed
the tears recalled now dry

stars shine, constellations the same
