As I sip on the nectar of life
a little hand in mine, we feed,
voracious seagulls, from the bridge
so well loved, so much in turn to give
yearning soul does concede
two feet anchored in two worlds apart,
split by distance with longing,
bound forever. in the knowing
nothing will deter the heart,
which beats in tuned vibration
to the music of the dreams,
needs, and paths least walked,
to live in constant celebration.
